Morten Heiberg is a household name in Denmark.
He is regularly cooking on National TV. He is making articles about food and lifestyle in the leading newspapers and magazines.
Heiberg graduated as chef in 1990 from one of the best rated restaurants in Copenhagen.
Reaching for the best, he went to London to work at The Savoy, and in order to control his passion - striving for the best, he went onboard the american cruiseship Crystal Harmony which we rated as the best cruiseship in the world, in 1995 - the year Heiberg was on board. Onborad the cruiseship, Heiberg have been around the world two times.
Heiberg have worked as Chef at The Royal Family and Her Majesty The Queen of Denmark.
In 1993 and 1997 Heiberg won the European Championship for Chefs.
Armed with knowledge, a dangerous passion for chocolate and a belief that there was room for a radically different approach to desserts, sweets and ice-cream, he decided to open his own company, which is named Dessertcirkus. Dessertcirkus is specialized in devoloping and producing chocolates, desserts, cakes, marmalades, ice-cream, fruit juices and a lot more.
Chef Heiberg has published 8 cookbooks. In Fall 2009 his 9. book will be released.
Heiberg travels all over world, specially in Japan, where he is training professional chefs, making cookingclasses and talkshows.
In March 2009 Heiberg opened his first shop in Tokyo, Japan. Within he next 2 years Heiberg will open several more shops in Japan.
